About Me

Heidi Louise is a qualified psychotherapist, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), and a Level 3 Gottman couples therapist. Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and certified as a Circle of Security (COS) Parenting facilitator, Heidi works holistically and collaboratively. She tailors therapy to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from attachment theory, neurobiology, and relational models. approach is grounded in evidence-based frameworks and a strong commitment to trauma-informed care.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Heidi has called Brisbane home for over 15 years. She understands the realities and challenges of parenting, relationships, and family life—not only professionally, but personally. Outside her practice, Heidi finds balance through painting, dancing, hiking, travel, and quality time with her loved ones.
Heidi brings over 12 years of clinical experience to her private practice. Her background includes working across Indigenous communities, multicultural organisations supporting refugees and asylum seekers, NSW Mental Health, Beyond Blue, and 1800Respect. These experiences have shaped a deep sensitivity to the impact of trauma, cultural context, and systemic disadvantage.
Heidi believes healing occurs in the context of safe, attuned connection. While emotional pain is part of the human experience, it should never have to be carried alone. Her therapeutic style is warm, authentic, and deeply respectful of each person’s journey.
