My Approach

Heidi works from a holistic, person centred and trauma informed framework, incorporating various modalities supportive and specific for the individual/s.

Heidi knows finding the right therapist is essential for successful therapy; my warm and authentic approach to therapy combined with my experience, skills and knowledge enable a personalised approach to therapy.

Heidi offers Face to Face sessions at two locations Axis Clinic in New Farm and Next Practice in West End by appointment together with the availability for Telehealth sessions to worldwide locations.

Fees.

​

Heidi charges a standard fee of $220 per session. Couples Therapy Sessions are 1.5 hours long with a fee of $330.

​

Heidi does accept Mental Health Care Plans from your GP for Individual Sessions under the Government 'Better Access' to Mental Health Program and is able to offer a Medicare rebate of $85.20 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year for 50min sessions (also available for Telehealth).

If you are unable to afford the standard fee Heidi does offer a flexible pricing scale for some low income clients, please contact Heidi prior to your first session to discuss your situation. 

​

Cancellations can be made by email or phone no later than 48 hours prior to the session. No attendance and or cancellations within 48hrs incur a cancellation fee.

Privacy.

​

Therapy is a confidential and safe space, Heidi's commitment to the privacy of information is governed by her personal ethics and by professional guidelines 

as a professionally-accredited social worker.

Heidi has a responsibility to maintain confidentiality and respect in regards to your information shared with her.

 

Its a common question and its important for you to know that what you say and share with Heidi in session is private and confidential and remains in the safety of that session.

The only reason the above would not be adhered to and that confidentiality may be overridden is where there is an immediate or prospective risk of harm to yourself or another, or if a court issued Heidi with a subpoena for release of information.
